How to trunk Cisco 6509 and Summit 48 port switch, I want all the VLAN's traffice to pass through

Extreme tags all VLANs on a trunk while Cisco Switches will not tag the native VLAN. You will need to account for this when configuring the trunk.

Use the standard trunking protocol 802.1Q.

Hi.

As Russ said Extreme switches tag every VLAN, so you should use 802.1q between the Catalyst and Extreme switches and change the native VLAN to something different than the default (VLAN 1) on the trunk port between them in order to force the Catalyst to tag VLAN 1 frames also.
