Cisco Network Regsitrar database question

HI ........

We have the CNR running in a Sun server and we're going to move the server for one week, then we want to copy the database into a PC with win2k pro

The problem is, when we run the keybuild command to rebuild the database, this it generates several errors.

is there a conversion tool from solaris to win2k?

or

what is the correct procedure to do that?

the CNR version is 3.5 and the files that we're copying are: /var/nwreg2/data/db.bak/mcddb.d01-d03

are we right ?

thanx in advance

Re: Cisco Network Regsitrar database question

First and foremost, verify that Network Registrar has been stopped. Assuming that and other little gotchas have been looked at, grab unix2dos from the web run it on the mcddb files. Search google for unix2dos, and dos2unix. Strips/adds line feeds to files, and mirrored all over the net.
