Cisco Port Address Translation with W2K PPTP Server

I have a windows 2000 PPTP server working well in my LAN, users from the LAN are able to connect to the PPTP server using windows PPTP client.

My access router is a cisco 2600 router with NAT enabled, I configured PAT on port 1723 so that users from outside the network connect to the PPTP server, but this is not working.

Could you please help me troubleshoot this issue ?

Re: Cisco Port Address Translation with W2K PPTP Server

Hello,

What is the IOS version you are using? It seems PPTP support has been only added since IOS 12.1(4)T. This feature allows the GRE tunnels support for PPTP connections.

Regards,

Christophe
