Cisco switch 2900XL Input and Frame Errors

What is 2224 input errors and 2224 Frame errors on my Cisco Switch. Is this a cisco IOS bug?

My current IOS is 12.0(5)WC3B on 2900XL switch

FastEthernet0/37 is up, line protocol is up

Hardware is Fast Ethernet, address is 0007.5091.05e5 (bia 0007.5091.05e5)

My Friend,

Its not an IOS bug. Try changing the switch port to some other port. Or it may be a problem with the PC connected to the port (NIC problem).

I suggest you fix all speed settings, these kind of errors are very common, looking at the percentage (0.02) it seems like there is nothing to realy worry about because these kind of errors can be caused by power glitches and all other kinds of emi sources.
