Cisco switch in hostile environment

Has anyone had any experience running Cisco Lan HW in a zero humidity environment?

We will be running switches (2- 3600's(?)) inside a Nitrogen purged c1d2 cabinet, and are concerned about static, etc.

Also, will a grounded steel cabinet be sufficient to shield RFI (using Cat5 cables)?

You should open a TAC case. This will require some detailed diaglogue between TAC & the compliance & safety engineering team for the specific switch platform you are concerned about to see whether this is within operating spec. There is a 3600 router, no 3600 switch. Get the details of the switch model & open a case.
