Cisco UDLD with non-Cisco device

Hi all,

Can UDLD still work when Cisco switches with UDLD connect with other device without UDLD, like router etc.?

Hi Mak,

No, both sides of the link must support UDLD for it to work properly.

" Devices on both ends of the link must support UDLD in order for the protocol to successfully identify and disable unidirectional links."
