Cisco View package updates

I have been unable to obtain device package updates from Cisco View in CW2K 5.4. Here is what happens:

1. Cisco View->Package Support Updater->Add Packages

2. Source: CCO

3. Option: I will select packages for update (have tried other options also).

Retrieval of package list appears to begin ... does not appear ever to end.

I was patient ... (went out and shot a round of golf) ... came back and it had timed-out. Tried again ... still going.

Packages I'm trying to get: Cat 4500, PIX 515, Cat 3524XL-ENT (Exist 3500 package will not let me config anything).

What needs to be done?

verify your proxy and CCO account settings.

Re: Cisco View package updates

Andrea, thanks for the response.

However, I did check these. I know the CCO works because I am actually posting this reply from within CW2K ... Management connection.

As to the proxy ... maybe this is where I am going wrong. We don't use a proxy ... just have a PIX. I assumed proxy meant a real proxy server and did not input any values for proxy.

Am I mistaken here?

Thanks for the tip ... it appears pretty straightforward.
