Cisco Works 2000 Installation

We have recently received the updated May2003 version of CW2K for RWAN and LMS. We purchased a new server and I have been installing the new software. I have completed installing the Common Services, RME with [RME3_5_IDU -5_0] the latest update as well as Campus Manager...from the LMS Package. We do not plan to utilize the DFM or real Time Monitor as we use IPSwitch What's up Gold and Denika for Performance monitoring and Fault Taulerance.

My question is , is it necessary to load the RWAN package since it seems that all of the same software came with the LMS package?

No, there are common apps in both bundles. So, if you already have installed say RME, no need to install it again.

You will only need to install RWAN components if you plan to use Internetwork Performance Monitor (IPM) or ACL Manager. These are the two delta products between RWAN and LMS.
