Cisco Works for Windows and IIS

Is it allowed to have Microsoft's IIS on a machine running CISCO Works for Windows? Does CWW use it's own http server? Our problem is that we cannot manage some devices with CWW 6.1 if IIS is running on the same machine. After deinstallation of IIS every device can be managed with the CISCO View submodule.

We have installed CWW first and then IIS. It's strange.

I have expected that in case of a "collision" of two

webservers listening on port 80 only the service would run that is started first and the second would fail but in our case we *only* cannot manage some devices.

Thanks. Thomas.

CWW uses it's own web server and if IIS is also running and using the same port, it will cause problems. Either un-install IIS or disable it on the server.
