Cisco Works login via RSA

Is there a way to use RSA's ACE server + tokens to control access to the GUI of CISCO Works (latest release) ?

I think about CISCO ACS acting as TACACS server and ACE as external database for ACS.

I know that we have at least one restriction:

Users (username+password) that are not found in CW's local database are assigned the guest role after login. Nevertheless, is usage of ACE possible at all?

Will CW prompt for RSA's dynamic passcode?

Thanks in advance. Thomas.

Re: Cisco Works login via RSA

Hi,

we are using ACE server to control access to the GUI of CISCO Works (LMS 2.2, it was working for 2.1 also).

But we use TACACS server included in ACE server package, not Cisco ACS.

It is also possible to configure fallback for some or all users to local CW login for the case of ACE server failure.

Regards,

Milan
