Cisco7206VXR boot image wanted

Hello,

Have a Cisco7206VXR with a System Bootstrap, Version 12.2(1r). During boot,message Bad CPU ID 00002710 occurs. Looked in ciscodocs > upgrade bootimage.

My ios is 12.1-3a.E5, actuel bootimag is 12.0.27. Therefore I want to upgrade boot-image version.

Question: Are there no problem, if Bootstrap version is higher then boot-image version? The only available boot-imge version I found is c7200-kboot-mz.122-3.bin. All other (higher) version are marked as DF or marked by bug-adviser notes.

You can upgrade with the boot image c7200-kboot-mz.122-3.bin abd there should not be a problem. Boot image upgrade is only needed when a new hardware is installed which is not supported in older boot image.
