When displaying some of the newer switches , when you try and go into the switch and configure something it is asking for a level 15 username and password , my question is how do you configure this on the switch so that I can configure the switch via Ciscoview , on older switches it does not ask for this username and password .
it is kind of security to secure the web access to the cisco device.
add username and password in local in the cisco and the same way if you are using Radius or Tacacs you
add command "ip http authentication local/aaa" in global mode.
