Please how can I get a total count of ports in use from the Cisco Work? The CiscoWork Inventory gives everything from
Number of slots, IOS version etc but not the ports that are in use and number of ports that are not in use on particular switches.
Please how can I go about getting this information? As most time now I have to go to CiscoView and start counting manually which is painstaking?
Thanks for your help.

In Campus 3.3, you can select the switch from the Layer 2 View in Topolgy Service and right-mouse click to select Port Attributes which will show you all the port on the switch along with the state. You can then select View->Unused ports which will show all the unsued ports on the switch. You can also Export or Print this info.

Is there a way to automate this to generate a port startus report for all devices ?

Not at the moment. UT data can be exported on an automated basis
