The Ciscoworks backup work if the destination is a network drive?
An error message appears when i try this backup.
"The specified Backup Directory does not exist."
Thanks

Can you provide more specifics on the OS type, CiscoWorks version, etc.
Have you verfied that the backup directory you are trying to specify does indeed exist? Like if I am configuring CiscoWorks to use /var/tmp/CSCOpx/backup as my backup directory, I need to first create the directory and give it correct permissions. I don't believe CiscoWorks will create a directory for you if you just try typing in a name for a new directory.

Ciscoworks2000 CD One 5th edition in Windows 2000.
The destination is another windows 2000 server
The network directoy already exist.
I try:
\\station\backup

How about mapping a drive to the server instead of specifying the server name?
i.e. Y: is mapped to myWin2k server
Network Directory then would be Y:\backup\
Just a thought.
