Sorry probably a dumb question, but I can't see to change the size of the syslog.log file and it keeps wrapping and loses the old information.

It is running, Ciscoworks;

Syslog, TFTP and RSH services 2.2

on

CiscoWorks Common Services with SP3 2.2

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

regards,

Adrian

Hi Adrian,

You should be able to do this using logrot, which is in the CSCOpx\bin directory. On-line help is available for logrot.

Bobby

Hi Bobby,

Thanks for your help on this, unfortunately I can't find the file you mention, the only one that is similar is logview.exe, but this just seem to show the current entries being logged via syslog ... is there another file I need to run?

Thanks again.

Regards, Adrian.

Many thanks Bobby, I've managed to download the files from the internet with the help of the author.

Thanks again,

Regards,

Adrian.
