Ciscoworks Windows and browsing using only IP address

I am having a problem. I want to browse from the net from various computers to check status on Ciscoworks. When I browse it changes the IP address to the DNS name of the computer. Then it will not work. I can resolve this using a local hosts file, but is there anyway to have Ciscoworks not push the DNS name and just use the IP address?

As long you have DNS enabled, CWW will try to use and resolve the the ip to the name.
