Ciscoworks2000 syslog.log

2 questions:

1. In Ciscoworks2000, the SYSLOG database gets trimmed regularly. What about the syslog.log file? How can you keep this from growing too large without having to manually delete it?

Thanks.

Re: Ciscoworks2000 syslog.log

From: http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/wr2k/prodlit/ckspp_wp.htm

'The size of the syslog file will grow, and RME does not automatically trim the file. The system administrator will need to ensure that this file does not grow too large. A log rotation utility (logrot) is available from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) for RME.'
