Hi,
I would like to know if there is anything like "clear conf <slot> " for Catalyst 4500 with a regular IOS 12.1.13EW.
I know it works fine with the CatOS.
I would like to clear the configuration on a specific slot, that used to have another module, so that I won´t get a config mismatch when I install another module.
Does it work when there is no module installed at the moment ?
Thanx for helping me.
bests regards
yves

Hi,
commands will only be valid for the exsisting module. So if you swap a different module out then you'll get the mismatches. There is an interface range command to help clear out sections or configure sections at a time. Here is a link to show you how it works, you can also define macros to help you with later administration.

Hi Corey,
thank you, that doesn´t make it easier, but it helps.
Frankly spoken, --- for Switches i really prefer the CatOS, ...
