Closed User Groups

Hi all, I heard someone mention Closed User Groups at my office, would someone like to explain what they are and how they are configured.

Below is the info., but it is for X.25.

I believe you mean in LAN environment or MPLS. If in a LAN, it is similar as individual VLANs that will not communicate each other. Below is more info.

"...In MPLS, closed user groups are established through VPNs that are transported independently over the core of the network using labels...."
