itz basically viewing & managing all the switches in a single windows when cluster feature is configured on the switch. lets say that you have installed cisco network assistant in your PC, & cluster is configured on the switches, 1 switch will be the cluster manager & rest of the switches will be the member of that cluster manager, by entering the ip address of the manager switch, you can view rest of the switches in single view. where as in stacked switch, all the stacked swithces will act as 1 single switch & single IP address management, here 1ly single ip address management can be done.
hope it helps.
