Can anybody let me know whether it is possible for WhatsUp Gold to monitor and receive traps from the member switches of a Cluster, if the member switches do not have IP addresses. And if it is possible a hint on how its done would be helpful.
Thanking you in advance.
Andy

Andy,
As you mentioned member switched do not have IPs and the master proxies everything (e.g. management requests, etc) to the member switches on behalf of it's IP address. So you cannot monitor these members with Whats-up Gold. SNMP logging to a syslog facility will allow you to see a failure of a member switch being sent as a trap from the master switch.
Hope this helps you,
Don
