Command help

I am looking for the command to show me the interface that a MAC Address is attached to. I have a Catalyst 6513 running IOS 12.2

I have looked but can't find the one for this IOS. The one I tried are show arp, show mac, show int mac.....none worked.

Re: Command help

Thank you very much, that worked....but you knew that :-).....and that was quick!

Enjoy the day,

Mike

Re: Command help

The correct command is: show mac-address-table

This one will give you all mac's the switch knows.

Best is to export the output to an xls or something simlar. You can then search for entries where a specific sequence (adress or port id) is found.

Regards,

Leo
