We have BPX that sometimes have a mismatch between the configuration they have in a card and the reseources they think they have occupied.
For example, one of them has 2000 conns free in a card and when we try to increase the AR conns, it says that it has only 1534 free connections.
I have found in Cisco tech documents, that it may be that the card has a mismatch in its database, and we have to switchcc or reset th BXM with the problem to solve it. (Only after reset the card we can increase the conns to the maximun, switchcc doesn´t work)
There is a command on IGX, "compactrsrc" that seems to correct this problem.
Even if it is a bug that is solved in a later release (FW or SW), the process for upgrading anything in the network takes a very long time (the custumer tests all before introducing it in the network).
I think that, for the moment, we can live with resetcd.
