config file from TFTP server

Hi,

i have a problem with a cisco e-lab at: http://forums.cisco.com/eforum/servlet/PrepCenter?page=more_labs

named: Managing the Startup Configuration File e-Lab.

when I download the configuration file (step 4) from the tftp server, its source and destination name are the same("switch-config").

but the lab prompts me to type "show startup-config" and then "show flash".

I don't get it.

thanks

Re: config file from TFTP server

"Show Flash" is like doing a "Dir" command in PCDOS / DOS window.

It should show you the files on the flash, presumably so you can check the filename, filesize, and other information (like the MD5 checksum to verify it was a good load).

Good Luck

Scott
