Configuration for modules remains after removal.

I have removed some modules from a pair of core 6500's and the configuration of these cards remains in running and NVRAM.

How do I get rid of the configurations for these old modules ?

Don't worry about them too much - they'll dissappear if you insert a different module...

Or use this command:

Re: Configuration for modules remains after removal.

Thanks Aaron,

That command appears to be CatOS based and I am running IOS - do you know the equivalent command ?

The "issue" that having these lines of code is that from an NMS perspective the switch still responds to SNMP requests pertaining to modules that do not exist.
