Configure an OC3 interface with ATM in Cisco 7507

Hi, i have a 7507 router with OC3 Interface and I connect this to a 5500 Catalyst Switch. I configure a ip address and mask of interface, but in a host on the same Vlan i try to make ping to ATM Interface an this dont response. Can give me steps to configure right this interface. Thanks

you have to configure either IRB or RBE. If it is just one link I suggest use IRB.
