is it possible to configure a CONSOLE port (not AUX) on a Router for Modem dial in acccess.
we have Cisco 828 which have only a console-Port and no aux-port.
which configuration on line CONSOLE is a must ?
are there any hints URLs an CCO ?

I think its not possible to use console port for modem dial access.
If you have ethernet port, you can use dsl modem and run pppoe

I have routers in remote locations and one of them someone changed the password and forgot what they changed it to. So what I would like to know is if I connect a modem up to the console port, can I reset the password through that method? I would have someone on the remote end power the router. Is this possible?

Instead of doing that, why don't you try telneting to the router, go into priviledge mode, do a show run, browse to the line:
"line con 0
password 7 AAAAAAAAAAA". Copy the strings AFTER the number 7 (all the AAs)
Download the free Boson software from www.boson.com and install it on your PC. You'll find a utility called Boson GetPass. Simply paste the above string into the field and you'll get the decrypted password. Please note that you cannot use this utility with "enable secret" password. You can use this utility with "enable password".
