configure ntp / sntp polling interval ?

Hi,

is there any solution for controlling/configuring the polling interval of ntp/sntp-clients?

It seems to me that the polling happens much to often (once per minute).

PS: As I do not see any configuration option in the IOS, there is maybe a possibility to configure something in my ntpd but what?

The poll interval is pre-configured and cannot be changed by configurations. Initialy, the first poll is done at 16 seconds and the next time onwards, the poll interval would be 64 seconds.

so this means that the ntp-polling could happen every 64s for every device (I have hundreds of devices) ??
