Configuring EIR/CIR ratio greater than 2 on FRSM cards on MGX8220 switches
there seems to be a problem with configuration of EIR/CIR ratio greater than 2 for Frame Relay connections on FRSM/FRSM-c cards on MGX8220/8850 platform. For instance, when port speed is configured for 256 k, and CIR=64k, Bc=8000, Be=24000 (theoretically giving EIR=256k), all of the traffic greater than 128 k is discarded due to VCQ overflow. Any imput on this problem would be greatly appreciated.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
