Configuring Etherchannel from CiscoView

From CiscoView if I select a port on a 6509 >configure>etherchannel it does not come up. Also when I changed the vlan a port was in it was not reflected in "user tracking". User tracking is not showing the second port of any of my etherchannels.

Re: Configuring Etherchannel from CiscoView

Try out the following show commands which can help you diagonise the problem

show port channel info

show port capabilities (mod/port)

show etherchannel summary

show trunk

show cdp neighbor

show port (mod/port) or show interface (mod/port)

For verifying the configuration for etherchannel, the following document could help you.

Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Switches

Configuring EtherChannel

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps708/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a008007f2c6.html

Hope this helps.

Re: Configuring Etherchannel from CiscoView

All of the etherchannels and trunks are there and operating properly. It's just CiscoWorks that doesn't see the second port of the fec in user tracking.
