Re: configuring router 1721 with WIC1 ADSL

Hello,

from what I can see at this time of night (almost 1AM here), in your first config, change:

ip nat inside source list 1 pool ATM0 overload

to

ip nat inside source list 1 interface ATM0 overload

this because you have no pool defined.

In your second config, change:

access-list 101 permit ip any any

to

access-list 1 permit 192.168.0.0 0.0.0.255

and

ip nat inside source list 101 interface ATM0.1 overload

to

ip nat inside source list 1 interface ATM0.1 overload

Saludos,

Georg

Re: configuring router 1721 with WIC1 ADSL

Thanks for your tips.

I have tested the second one and it works. Well, another problem was that I did the pings from the router, even extended pings, and they didn't work.

This morning I have made the tests from a PC con the LAN side, and everithing it's ok.

I haven't had time to test the config1, but I think it will work too.

What configuration is better, to use atm subinterfaces (config2) or not to use them(config1)?

Thank you very much.
