Configuring S Registers on Mica Modems

I've tried altering the S registers on our mica (digital) modems using reverse telnet at the ATS commands, which works but this morning I noticed that they had all reset back to defaults.

The modem module is installed in a 3660 multi-access router.

Could the modems be reverting back due to any configuration commands (such as modem autoconfigure type mica)?

Thanks,

Re: Configuring S Registers on Mica Modems

you need to use the modemcap for that..Modemcap will be allpied everytime when the connection is disconnected/reset or line is cleared..

That modemcap is nothing but the group of S registers value..Here is the url for recommended modemcap based on the modem firmware versions
