I'm using a Cisco 2514 router to do this, but I can't seem to get the configuration to work correctly. At one point, I could connect to my webserver from outside the LAN, but the workstations on the LAN couldn't access the internet. However, I did something and now I can't access either way anymore.
I have my cable modem connected to eth0 and my LAN connected through eth1. My cable internet IP address is dynamic, but as far as I know, this router cannot handle dynamic addresses, so I have just been setting the eth0 IP as my currect internet IP.
Any help on what sorts of configuration I would need to set up for this would be greatly appreciated.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
