Console access to 6509

We have recently worked on one of our 6509s to upgrade the IOS on the MFSC. Now, when we attempt to connect to the 6509 via the console port, we go right to the MFSC. We have always connected to the switch first, then sessioned into the MFSC. Does anyone have an idea what happened and how we can fix it?

At the router prompt, press Ctrl-C three times and this should help you exit from the MSFC prompt to the switch CLI.

Console> (enable) switch console 15

Trying Router-15...

Connected to Router-15.

Type ^C^C^C to switch back...

Router> ^C^C^C

Console> (enable)
