console echo

simple question: I can't remember how to resolve the following issue on my console connection via a term server -

i connect in and then observe the following 'echo' when entering a command:

sshh rruunn

each character gets 'echoed' i seem to remember this being an exec config on either the cisco router or the terminal server.........any suggestions?

Re: console echo

Hello

I think this is actually specific for the application you are using,

if it was a WINDOWS HYPERTERMINAL, you would go to:

FILE: PROPERTIES: ASCII SETUP and then check (or un-check) the box :

echo typed characters locally

Do a basic search for ECHO options on your terminal application.

Re: console echo

I believe that Vlad is on the right track with his suggestion.

You should also be sure that the terminal server has configured no exec on the lines that will be used for reverse telnet.
