Console lockout - Cat5505

Any ideas on how to get into a switch with a console which does not respond to any terminal speed setting? Can it be reset to factory default?

Hi GS,

Can you please update if it is sup3 and what type of cable you are using to access console.

Remember for sup 3 we need straight cable and sup 1 and 2 we need simple rollover cable which we use for all other devices.

Please check which sup you are trying to access and update?

If you know the ip address can you try to telnet the the sup.
