Im trying to save the current config from my router to my pc. I have yet to get the command right.

There are probably a couple of ways to do this but I run TFTP Server software on my PC and issue the "copy run tftp" command.

There are tons of diff ways to do this.
1. Use the Capture text feature available on most of the terminal softwares, (like Hyperterminal, Procomm plus etc) and give a show run command, to capture the config
2. Use a tftp server on your PC, and issue a copy running-config tftp
3. If you have a flash card on the router, you can save the configs, using copy running-config flash (could be slot0 or slot1 instead of flash) and then remove the flash card and use it on your pcmcia slot on your laptop or using pcmcia card reader.
