Correct modem state - External USR

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/termserv/command/reference/tsv_cr_book.pdf

TSV-148

Cisco IOS Terminal Services commands

July 2011

Modem state

Modem control state. Although the sample output shows the modem state

Idle, this field should always say READY.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk801/tk133/technologies_tech_note09186a00800b1149.shtml

while on the link above suggested that the propper modem state is:

Idle

CTS noDSR DTR RTS

These are the proper modem states for connections between an access server or router and a modem (when there is no incoming call). Output of any other kind generally indicates a problem.

I am confused guys ! any clues ?
