While the Cisco documentation clearly states that the NM-2FE2W module is not supported by the 2600 series, would any damage to the NM take place if it is installed in a 2600 chassis (and powered up).
For example, is there any power differences between 2600 and 3600 NM slots ?
The reason I ask is that I have a NM-2FE2W that causes a 3600 to hand when booted...and am wondering if it was perhaps mistakenly installed in a 2600 at some time in the past.
