Could not start the CW2000 Deamon Manager service on local computer

Hi All,

I have cisco works 2000 installed on win2k mechine.

And i could no able to start the deamon manager service.

the error that i get is:

Could not start the CW2000 Deamon Manager service on local computer

What is the version of CW2K?. Also, did you login to this CW2K server as a Local Administrator to the server to install CW2K?

Hi again,

The version of the cisco work is 5th Edition.

Yes i install all the CW2K as local admin.

But the Incremental Device update 1.0 on Resource Manager Essentials 3.4

and the Incremental Device Update (IDU) 1.0 on Campus Manager 3.2 .

i have installed with remote desktop Terminal services.

Can you remove it and then install it back without using remote desktop Terminal services. ?
