HI, I have a 6500 switch, It?s working with CatOS 8.3(7), do you know a command to clear counters reported by snmp, I only know the command clear count mod/pto and the output show me:

This command will reset MAC and port counters reported by the CLI for port(s) 2/12.

Counters reported by SNMP will not be affected.

Do you want to continue (y/n) [n]?

So it?s possible "affected counters reported by snmp" using some command

thans and best regards

The only way to clear the SNMP counters is to reset the switch.

Last line in the following URL states:

"In addition, SNMP counters are never cleared, even if the interfaces are cleared."
