Crash Catalyst C3750ME-I5-METRO

Hello,

When i was configuring a gigabit interface on the catalyst i have receive a %Software-forced reload, and from the show version I receive the following message

System returned to ROM by error - Debug Exception (Could be NULL pointer dereference) Exception (0x2000)!, PC 0x1DDE58

In the cco I didn’t find any cause for this crash, thus any one have an idea

I decoded the stack trace, but it does not match any known bugs, although you are running the original IOS release for that platform. An upgrade may or may not help here.

How many times has it crashed? Was anyone entering any commands on the switch at the time?

The switch crashed after i configure the gigabit interface to speed 100.

I will try to upgrade to a new ios.

Do you know what is the most stable ios for 3750 metro switch at the moment.

Hi,

I think that is your best bet as 12.1(14)AX was the original release for the 3750 metro switch. I would personally recommend 12.2(25)EY3, but please review the release notes for any open caveats that you may be subject to:
