CRC and Frame errors

I have a 2620 that has been in production for over 6 months with no problems - we are now receiving CRC and frame errors on our Fast Ethernet - no changes to the network have been made during this time. Is there a way to use debug or another monitoring tool built in to the router that will help me troubleshoot these type errors? Thanks...

Well, it looks like that port is receiving corrupted frames. You have to check the cable, the remote port. If both are OK, then we might be looking to a bad port on the router. You could also check for duplex mismatches.

Hi,

I had the same problem and I had to replace the router (RMA)

I did a show tech-support.
