our switch had to be rebooted by our coworkers. There were many "Invalid CRC" errors.
later, I checked on the switch, found some ports have very high Runts and Late Collisions.
I am just wondering, are these two errors impact a switch somehow that the switch has to be restarted? for example buffer or other resources issues?
thanks,
Han,

The high Runts indicated a problem with duplexing. If one side is set to full duplex and the other set to auto then the auto side will go into half duplex and have a high runt count. Specifying the duplex mode on 100Mb. may be a good or bad idea. I am still seeing problems with Broadcom cards doing auto duplexing right. There may be some others as well...

Hi,
L1 has problems ... maybe wiring, maybe duplexing, maybe both ;)
Please check your L1.
