All of my Cisco Catalyst 3500 series XL switches are recording input cyclic redundancy check (CRC) errors on their uplink port to the commander switch. I am using GigaStack Gigabit Interface
Converters (GBICs). Why am I getting these errors?
When there are more than two members in a cluster (stack), the Gigabit interface operates at half-duplex. Since collisions can result at half-duplex, some CRCs errors are normal.
