CRC errors on Multilink

Hi

I have 4 links which are bundled together in multilink.

I receive lot of CRC errors in 2 links and hence i removed them from the bundle and gave them for testing.

The circuit was clean and did not produce any errors for 24 hours.

But as soon as i add it to the bundle the CRC errors increments.

Is there anything specific to multilink which i am missing while testing?

Could you please advise what is the interface type you are using. I suspect it is the cable problem to cause the CRC error. Did you try to replace the cables ?

Hi Jack,

The interfaces are E1.

I dont think its a cable problem cos i dont see the errors when i remove them from multilink eventough the same physical link is connected on the interface.

Anyway i will have it tested.

Thanks for your update. IC. I suggest to carry a loopback test with the CSU/DSU by the provider.
