We just installed two 1721 routers using a T-1 point to point to connect the host to the remote site. The host site has the server and the phone system and the remote site has 7 workstations and 7 IP phones. The phones at the remote site are getting disconnected at night and the main phone system must be reset for them to come back up. The workstations are not having any problems. The only thing that I see when checking the router at the host site is quite a few CRC errors. The phone comapny is telling use we have some problem with the network. Is there any suggestions on what could be causing the CRC errors?
On what interface are you getting the errors, and at what rate? Don't let the phone company off the hook if you think there may be a problem. Some CRC errors are inevitable, but don't let yourself be stuck with a bad line.
