CSM client vlans and gateway

i have 6500 with 8 vlans..now iam going to implement a CSM with remote clients as well as all the local users on my 8 vlans. My questions are;

1. do i have to configure all vlans as clients?

2. is d VLAN where my CSM client is configured, be my only gateway?

To answer your first question, you need not configure all vlans as clients.
