Hi

I am using CSS11051 with version 5.10 including WebNS standard 5.10 and just wonder if I can upgrade the software for free just like other cisco IOS and if the latest software is copmatible with CSS11051. And in order to upgrade WebNS software to latest version, if I have SmartNet service, is it free as well or do I have purchase it?

If your product is covered by SmartNet, then I think that the upgrades are free.

Here's the extract from the SmartNet Q & A

Q. Are software updates and upgrades included in the Cisco SMARTnet charge?

A. Yes, software updates and upgrades within the customer's current platform are part of the basic program. No additional charge is warranted as long as the product remains under Cisco SMARTnet.
