Yes there are Cisco endorsed classes available. Or at least there have been in the past. Check www.globalknowledge.com or www.ascolta.com for the details. I have not seen any extensive selections of Cisco Press books for CW2K however.
I recently took a fairly comprehensive CiscoWorks 2000 administration class from http://www.knowledgenet.com. It was called "Implementing CiscoWorks for Enterprise LAN/WAN Management (CWENT) 1.0". I got a lot out of it, and never had to leave the office to attend. (instructor led, on line class)
